Now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the palace was originally built as a lavish home for the Roman Emperor Diocletian, but became more like a city in its own right as more buildings were added to it throughout the ages.
Accommodation in centrally located, highly recommended hostels is included in your cost. These hostels are neat,
clean and a great place to meet fellow travelers. Most have full service kitchens, Laundromats, apart from internet facilities and safe deposit lockers.
Accommodation will be in 4-6 bed dorms and en suite facilities will be available wherever possible. Some hostels also have women-only floors.
