Who Are We?The Backpacker Co is India’s first EXPERIENTIAL company specializing in taking travelers on informal, informative and extremely fun trips around the world. 
The Backpacker Co is run by Yogesh M. Shah Aka Yogi and his wife Suchna Hegde-Shah, a couple passionate about encouraging people to travel on their own. They are the pioneers in getting ‘experience based travel’ to the Indians. Suchna had been working with Singapore Airlines as a cabin attendant for 5 years and was based out of Singapore. During these years she logged many a mile and hence has in depth knowledge of the different corners of the world. Yogi has been backpacking and traveling across India and the globe ever since he can remember getting his licence and passport.
 He has traveled through various countries and continents, stayed in different kinds of places, sampled a variety of local cuisines and honed his skills as a globe trekker. They both now want others to share their dream of making travel more then ‘rome maa raas and paris maa puri’. Be it to destinations within India or abroad, they want to add ‘experience’ into travel and not just do the run off the mill stuff and as their vision says…. take you ‘off the beaten path’. |
