Start off your European sojourn in the grand ancient city of Rome where the past meets the present. Filled with architectural jewels, piazzas, fountains and the hometown of pizza and gelato- Rome is a delight. Onto Barcelona, a Spanish coastal city –made up of cobbled streets, powder-soft beaches and whitewashed fisherman’s cottages – boasts of some very hip bars frequented by glamorous locals. Then head onward to Lisbon, the capital of Portugal. The city of seven hills is also known as "White City” due to its irreplaceable glow. With blue skies all year around and a pleasant winter, Lisbon is a sun kissed city.

Itinerary

DAY 1: ARRIVE IN ROME

Grab a beer from the airport and head straight to your chilled out hostel. You have a shared arrival transfer booked for you, if you arrive before check-in time, store your bags in the luggage room and head out. Today, you can visit the Colosseum, then head to THE VATICAN which is one of Rome's most fascinating areas, packed with history and intrigue.View the brilliantly decorated masterpieces of Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel and explore the artistic and architectural treasures in an exclusive viewing of the Vatican Museums.

DAY 2: ROME

What better way to start your trip than getting a 90 minute kickstart on the dos and don'ts of this beautiful city? Today your local guide will introduce you to their beautiful city, as they will show you the real picture of Rome and will give you tips to find the best gelato in town! Post this, you have another walking trip with a local as what is a better way to explore the city than through a local’s eyes. It will be a great way to learn Rome in a completely off beat way. Local streets, amazing views and hidden churches is what we have in store for you today!

DAY 3: ROME

You have a free day in Rome today so make sure to fill it with lots of goodies!Today you can check out the PANTHEON, another one of Rome’s historic wonders. This 2000 year old temple that is now a church is one of the best preserved sites.While you’re at it, check out St. Peter’s Basilica and the Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore. End in the marvelous ruins and towering pine trees of the PALATINO (Palatine Hill). Spend your last night in Rome enjoying some delicious Roman pizza at one of the many local pizzerias. Try out some pasta and wine too ;)

DAY 4: ROME TO BARCELONA BY FLIGHT

This morning, hop on your flight to your next enchanting destination-BARCELONA!!!This Catalan Capital will welcome you with beautiful architecture, culture and nature! Post lunch you can visit the super enchanting La Sagrada Familia today followed by Casa Mila, Casa Battlo(where you feel like you’re inside a jewel) and head to Park Guell which is quite possibly the most fascinating urban park in the world!

DAY 5: BARCELONA

Hop onto your bikes today to explore Barcelona with a quirky local guide. Explore this city and all its wonders through a unique view-on a bike! Get the must dos list from a local so you really get the secrets of the Spanish living.

DAY 6: BARCELONA

You have a free day to roam around Barcelona today.Visit Poble Espanyol-a small Spanish village with different quarters that replicates the style of houses and architecture from different parts of Spain. La Boqueriamarket (a world of food) is right here where you can expect slippyfloors with melted ice and fruit skins with loud stall holders! This is the charm of any food market. Tonight’s plan? Partaayyy!

DAY 7: BARCELONA TO LISBON BY FLIGHT

Today you fly out of Barcelona to the beautiful city of Portuguese surprises-Lisbon. Reach Lisbon and grab some Portuguese lunch at a café close by. Stuffed squids, suckling pigs, a lot of sea food, curries with some wine, etc.!Should you wish to go back in time, you can visit the medieval towns of Cascais(known for surfing).

DAY 8: LISBON

Time to find out more about what being a Portuguese means, find out what Lisbon is all about and what makes it an amazing place to be in from your local guide while you walk around the streets in Lisbon! This is just to warn you that your guide here is a little off-beat. Well, that’s what you’re here for. Do keep your camera handy to capture some fun moments!

DAY 9: LISBON

What better way to start your trip than getting a 90 minute kickstart on the dos and don'ts of this beautiful city? Want to feel like a royal ? Wander through the lush green surrounding hills, incredibly beautiful mansions, fairytale like castles and narrow cobbled lane’s. Visit this mysterious and unreal Town of Sintra which is a day trip from Lisbon. Alternatively, you can spend the rest of the day at leisure. You can spend your evening saying goodbye to the beautiful city.Why not experience a live Fado show than the birth place itself? You can enjoy the lovely folk music and don’t forget to clap your hands, as the performers simply love it.

DAY 10: GOODBYE LISBON

Vacayblues, hangover, wanting to extend your holiday… SIGNS OF A FAB HOLIDAY! ;)

Accomodation / Transport

Accomodation:

Accommodation in centrally located, highly recommended hostels is included in your cost. These hostels are neat, clean and a great place to meet fellow travelers. Most have full service kitchens, laundromats, apart from internet facilities and safe deposit lockers.

Accommodation will be in 6-8 bed dorms and en suite facilities will be available wherever possible. Some hostels also have women-only floors

Transportation:

All intercity travel cost, either by high speed trains, flights or by road are included.
